Our Privacy Statement

It is of the utmost importance to The Shredders to protect the documents that are entrusted to us. We have implemented safety procedures, such as locking all bins prior to leaving your facility, arming and placing cameras in our vehicles and shredding without sorting material. We digitally record all activity in the plant and hold the tapes for one year.

The Shredders perform extensive background checks through the Department of Justice on all employees. All individuals handling sensitive material are state-licensed security guards.

The Shredders will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any confidential information which we have obtained with respect to the customer, except under legal compulsion.

The Shredders will exercise the same degree of care it uses to protect its own proprietary information or trade secrets in safeguarding the information of our customers against loss, theft, or other inadvertent disclosure.
